“ Last night I tried to telephone a large order to deliver to myself as my friends were visiting and despite my custom and tips over 20+ years as soon as I said as usual Hi! This is John in Donaghmore the answer was "No Donaghmore!" and the phone slammed down! I don't know why but there's a few in town to try now! ”

“ Chicken tikka kebab and chicken pakora kebab - both beautiful. Naan bread was well done and not too doughy, salad was fresh, chicken was perfect and the sauce had a nice spicy kick to it. I would definitely return for a takeaway to bengal spice, the service was very friendly and it was quick. ”

“ Me and my girlfriend stopped here on our way home around 7 PM after a day in Belfast (we live in Co. Sligo). The first two places we looked at were either shut down or closed for the evening. We were set on Indian so our maps brought us here. The place is actually pretty hidden. You have to know it's there. If we didn't have Google Maps, I think we would've walked right past it. We were seated at a nice two person table beside a space heater and had food in front of us within 20 minutes. The quality of the food was sublime and left me wanting more. When we were done the bill came to around £40 for a korma, garlic curry, 2 boiled rices and two portions of naan bread. One of the more expensive Indian restaurants I've dined at, but not the most expensive. I would definitely visit here again next time I'm leaving Belfast! ”

“ I normally get curry from here (my half Indian friend from London really highly rates this place) and normally I get a kebab from elsewhere when I'm in a different town but today I got a doner kebab from Bengal spice here and was really pleased with it. I asked for big, I got big and the meat is tastier higher quality than other places and they didn't scrimp! They put on LOADS of creamy garlic sauce on the chips which I personally love and again - nice flavour and creamy. I also gave it a 5 star as it was reasonably priced and the Indian gentleman who runs it has a really good wholesome vibe even on the busiest days. I love this place, thank you for the high standards. ”
